gitea_mcp Role

This role deploys the Gitea MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

Description

The Gitea MCP server allows LLMs to interact with your Gitea instance.

Deployment

The role deploys a Docker container using the image gitea.rwcloud.ch/homelab/gitea-mcp:0.5.0. It is exposed via Traefik at https://gitea-mcp.rwcloud.ch.

Configuration

The following environment variables might be needed (uncomment in tasks/install.yml):

• GITEA_URL: The URL of your Gitea instance.
• GITEA_TOKEN: An access token for Gitea.

Port

The service is assumed to listen on port 3000. Adjust traefik.http.services.gitea-mcp.loadbalancer.server.port if necessary.
